More space for family - plus a new ensuite for mum!

This clever renovation added two bedrooms and a bathroom to the existing home...and gave mum a new ensuite!

The project

This project is a great example of what you can achieve with an idea and a big backyard!

This mother of two was looking for extra space for her family, and a more functional home.

We helped turn her ideas into a functional plan, and then got to work on the renovation and extension.

The result

Two bedrooms and a bathroom have been added to the home. 

The choice of white paint and tiles makes the new bathroom, and upgraded ensuite, gives the impression of more space. The owner was careful to make decisions that made use of all available space - and was able to add a bath to the ensuite (creating a haven for mum!)

We also opened up the living room to create a second space to relax. This means different members of the family can kick back without getting in each other’s way.

Overall, this has become a thoughtful transformed home that works functionally for the family, and also looks good!
