The project

This two-bedroom house was purchased at auction, as a medium-term investment opportunity.

The entire house was renovated and expanded to three bedrooms. An outdoor entertaining area was added and the backyard enclosed, preparing it for rental.

While the house was occupied by tenants, the owners set about drawing up plans for a second dwelling on the large block.

The result

The owners were able to subdivide the land and get DA approval for the second dwelling.

They sold the three-bedroom house and entire block with the DA approved plans.
